The Annapolis Airport was located at 38°56'56.4"N 76°29'13.2"W, on a 196-acre property 2 miles south of Annapolis, bounded by Bay Ridge Road and Edgewood Road. It appeared as an auxiliary field on October 1946 Sectional Chart. The airport was a clearing in a 1958 USGS topo map [1].

The Annapolis Airport was part of 1,300 acres proposed for a US Naval Academy airport in 1947 and re-proposed for that use in 1948. [2]
